Purity: Fidget Spin Bricks Review

This set comes from a company named "Well Played".  Searching on Google just leads back to Toys'R'Us.

Box I paid $9.99 at Toys'R'Us for a $0.11 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Parts 1.  The Light Teal Technic Ball Joints are neat, as are the Trans-Red 2x2 Round Plates.

Parts 2.  The 2x2 Truncated Cones
in Red and Blue are nice.  I like the Technic 1/2 Bushings in Black too.  Oh, Orange Boat Studs!

Parts 3.  Technic 1/2 Bushings again.

Parts 4.  Trans-Red Technic Ball Joints and Light Teal 2x2 Round Plates.  Orange Boat Studs again.

Build. A Frame (2Rd+d8/1G)
and three Stations.

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away? Yes. (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio? Above. (-10) (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away? Yes. (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts? Yes. (+5)
Score: +5 (B+).  Not a great set but it has some good parts in interesting colors.

Plates, Claw Bar Holders, Arm Up Plates,
a Minifig Lightning Bolt, Hinge Bricks, a Minifig Tool Box, Brackets, Jumpers,
and Pentagonal Tiles are all useful.

Parts 2.  I think the 1x4 Angle
Plates are fun to use.

Build.  Frame (2Rd+d8/2Y)
and Station.

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Above.  (-10)

If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  Yes.  (+5)
Score: +5 (B+).  Wasn't sure I was going to be able to make something from this set.

Purity: Arcade Classics Frogger Review

There are three of these Arcade Classics sets from "The Bridge Direct".  The only real reference to them to be found online is a Youtube video.

Box I paid $9.99 at Toys'R'Us for a $0.08 Price per Piece.

Stickers.

Parts 1.  That Minifig Kite Shield

2x2 Bracket.  More Kre-O large
Ball Joints in this set too.

Parts 2.  More Minifig Shields.  Slopes, Bar Plates, Clip
Plates, Plates, Minifig Hand-like Bar Claws, Brackets,
Tiles, a Bar Tile, a Boat Stud, and Slopes w/Studs.

Purity: Arcade Classics Q*bert Review

There are three of these Arcade Classics sets from "The Bridge Direct".  The only real reference to them to be found online is a Youtube video.

Box I paid $9.99 at Toys'R'Us for a $0.09 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Stickers.

Parts 1.  Plenty of Plates here.  Those Round Bricks look to be 3x3 in size but only have 2x2 studs on them.  I see more Minifig Shields, and those are Kre-O Ball Joints in the lower right corner.

Parts 2.  Those 2x2 Plates in the upper right corner are double sided.  The Slopes w/Studs are neat too.

Build.  One Frame, three Stations, and three pieces of one Hit Cover.

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away? Yes. (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio? Below. (+5) (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away? Yes. (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts? Yes. (+5)
Score: +20 (A+).  Not as good looking as the Centipede set.  The monotone nature of the colors really hinders it.

Oh, by the way, this is my 1,000th post.

Review: Gundam Converge FF-X29A G Parts (Hrududu) (113)

Let's finish out Gundam Converge week with the six item in the set and a rare Saturday post.  Apparently this kit is a fighter and also parts expansion set for the Gundam Hazel.  Which makes it fairly interesting.  This kit is part of a sealed set of Vol.19 of Gundam Converge I picked up at H Mart.  I paid $64.99 for the entire set.

Box.  MSRP was $6.49 at H Mart.

Parts.  That little thing at the
bottom is a piece of candy.

Disassembled.  The little antenna on the tips of the wings can be removed too and, they could be Spotting.  the wings could be either Movement or Defense.  The nosecone could be either Melee, Direct Fire, Defense, or Spotting.

Assembled.

Size Comparison.

This is the combination of the
G Parts and the Hazel Custom.
The Questions:
Is it below, at, or above $10 per Frame?  Below.  (+5)

Is it a good size to use in a game?  Yes.  In between a Chub and a Classic.  (+5)
How many parts does it have to represent systems?  Four.  (+5)
Does it have enough parts you can remove to represent White Dice damage?  No.  (-5)
Score: +10 (A-).  This might actually make a good ship for a game of Intercept Orbit.

Review: Gundam Converge RX-121-1 Gundam TR-1 (Hazel Custom) Blue (112)

This is day 5 of Gundam Converge week.  This is a re-color of the kit I reviewed yesterday.

Something I discovered with this one is the feet come off.  The gun can be Direct Fire or Spotting.  The shield can be Defense.  Backpack one can be Movement.  Backpack two can be Defense or Spotting.  The head can be Defense or Spotting.  The arms can be removed for White die damage.

Assembled.  Like the other version,
it has trouble standing up.

Size Comparison.

Yes.  (+5)
Score: +20 (A+).  Same verdict as the White one.
