Purity: Mega Bloks GLB72 Halo Breacher Exosuit Review

I picked up this set a while back at Target.  When the first pictures were released a few people asked if this would work for MFZ: Rapid Attack.

Box.  MSRP is $9.99 for a $0.11 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Minifig.  You have to disassemble the minifig to
remove the armor before starting the main build.

Parts 1.  The two Dark Grey Arm
Sleeves have to be snapped into
the Dark Red Torso Cover.  This is
not very clear in the instructions.

Parts 2.  Plates, Slopes, Ball Joints, Brackets, Slope w/Cutout, Double Sided Stud, Round Brick w/Bar Hole, Connector, Bar, and Tail Tiles.

Parts 3.  "Exoskeleton".

Build.  Brawler.

Size Comparison 1.  The minifig
looks to be a decent size.

Size Comparison 2.
That's a big Frame.

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Above.  (-10)  (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  Yes.  (+5)
Score: +5 (B+).  If you're okay with a slightly oversize Frame, this is good to go right out of the package.

Purity: Mega Bloks GKY77 Pokeball Nidoran Review

A Series 11 Pokeball review to start out the week.

Box.  MSRP is $6.99 for a $0.23 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Parts 1.  Those ear pieces are
funky.  The barb piece is more
rubbery than the Lego version.

Parts 2.  The multi-Ball Joint piece
is always cool.  As are the double-
sided pieces.  The 1x2 Slope w/
Single Stud and Tail Tiles are neat.

Build.  It's a little front heavy.

Size Comparison.  Small-ish.

No.  (-5)
Score: -5 (B-).  I really like this one.  The colors and parts are neat.

Review: 71223 Dimensions Chima Cragger Fun Pack

Another set I picked up when TRU was going through its death throes.  I'm not sure what price I paid for it.

Box.  MSRP was $14.99 for a $0.26 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Minifig.

Parts 1. Plates, Truncated Cone Brick, 2x2
Plate w/Studs on Side, Round Large
Jumper, Tile w/Studs on Ends, Tooth
 Plates, Clip Plates, Minifig Binoculars,
Studless Slopes, Round Plates, Printed Round Tiles, Flame Pieces, and Minifig Handlebar.

Parts 2.  Dimensions Bases, Polygonal Wedge
Brick, Plate, Inverted Slopes, and Round Brick.

Build.  An IO Frigate with
three Attachment points.

No.  (-5)
Score: -5 (B-).  While this has some nice Dark and Olive Green pieces, it's really hampered by the parts count.

Maybe it's because I really like the larger set this is based on but, I like this set.

Random Mechs 25

The Variable Edition!  These are all creations made for Mobile Frame Zero: Rapid Attack.

IAEF "Hastati" by J Dennis.

Aeroframe by Shades Corvid.

Moto by Alexial1.  A slight
change of theme with this one.

There are some I've featured in the past in Random Mechs 8 and Random Mechs 23 but, screw it, let's keep this about people who are actual members of our community.
