Purity: Mega Bloks 05662 Power Rangers Red Lion Zord Review

I found this in Ocean State Job Lots back before Christmas along with a few other sets.

Can.  I paid $5.00 for this which yields a $0.05 Price per Piece.  I can't
find any sources for the original price so make of this what you will.

Instructions.

Minifig.

Parts 1.  The piece in the upper left is
the Head.  The Printed Slopes are neat.

Parts 2.  The Mega Bloks version of the Mod. Brick w/Pin is slightly odd in that they are only two Plates tall.  The piece in the lower right is the Jaw for the Zord head.

Parts 3.  Bar Plates, Clip Plates, Slopes, Bricks, Plates, Mod Bricks w/Pin Hole,
and that 10 Stud long Mod. Plate.

Build.  Frame.  I should have tried this set a long time ago.

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Below.  (+5)  (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  Yes.  (+5)
Score: +20 (A+).  A perfect score but on a secondary retailer price.

Polly Want A Baggy 7

Wow, seven years of this?  Time flies when you're searching for that one specific piece in the pile of Lego that is life.  :-)  As usual, the information comes from Brickset.

30361 Fire ATV another ATV for the City fire department.  That looks to be a new Minifig Axe pice though.

30362 Sky Police Jetpack looks like it could be the core of some sort of drone.

30408 Tulips this has to be close to 60 pieces.

30409 Emma's Bumpercars I like the Blue and Purple pieces.

30527 Lucy vs. Alien Invader could be good for terrain?

30528 Mini Master-Building MetalBeard this one has already gotten traction on the Facebook page.

30529 Mini Master-Building Emmet looks like it has possibilities.

30533 Sam-X looks to be a Frame-in-a-Bag.

30535 Fire Flight another Ninjago throwback set.  Looks like it might be better than the original.

30571 Pelican not sure what to think of this.

30620 Star-Stuck Emmet Sand Green Pentagonal Tiles!

40341 Sea Accessories looks like it has some useful stuff but the Price per Piece is going to be awful.

Last year's crop of polybags started out weak but finished pretty strong, so maybe this year will turn out the same way.

Review: 40354 Brick Headz Dragon Dance Guy

I bought this at the same time I bought the Samurai Mech.  So it looks like there's going to be a lot of red and gold parts in the reviews this week.  This set confuses me.  The Dragon Dance doesn't involve wearing a costume and Lego put out another set that gets it right.  So what's up with this one?

Box.  I paid $9.99, for a $0.06 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Parts 1.  Plates, Bricks, Mod. Plates, Mod. Bricks, Round Bricks.

Parts 2.  Red Tooth Plates,
Trans-Red Minifig Heads!

Parts 3.  1x2 Technic Plate, 1x1-1x1 Brackets, Minifig Microphones.

Build.  IO Frigate again (2B/1Y).

Yes.  (+5)
Score: +20 (A).  Lots of good parts in useful colors.
