More Good Sets for Parts

Oddly enough, it looks like one of the Lord of the Rings sets has some great parts for MFZ. Shelob Attacks has lots of clips, hinges, click hinges, and a 2x4 Triple Wedge w/Spider Eyes pattern that I think will see a lot of use. It's also $19.99 USD for 200+ parts, so it's in the sweet spot for Price/Piece.

Another Creator set that has good parts is 5763 Dune Hopper.

A super-hero set that's an affordable Price per Piece and has good pieces? Who'da thunk it? 6862 Superman vs. Power Armor Lex is that set.

  1. I bought the Supes vs. Lex set from Bricklink a few weeks ago. Haven't done anything with the parts, yet, but all the purple and green were shouting HI-LEGS!! at me.

  2. How come lego sells a giant man eating spider but refuses MFZ?
(not to mention the other kinds of things LOTR has, or exo-force, or star wars...)

    1. Because the creators of MFZ haven't presented it to Lego in any way, shape, or form? And they don't want to?

    2. Right-I guess MFZ still does go against their policy. Plus, the inherent popularity of LOTR or other licensed themes.
