One thing I've noticed lately is that I occasionally like to use minifig heads and helmets to give a frame a bit of personality. Using them allows you to introduce small scale rounded lines into a build when in general Lego is all about the straight line.
This first started with the
Cylon.
The next one along was
Following on from that
is the
Stick Figure.
The next production model after
The technique went into hibernation after that until the
Taurus and
HellstromGenerics. These are two of my favorite iterations of this technique.
