This has been sitting on my coffee table for a while. It started out as part of a spaceship, but that got dismantled pretty quickly. I want to try to figure out how to hide some sort of weaponry inside the "petals".
I figure this is a decent way of sharing things that may be half built, rather than posting to, then deleting, things from Flickr.

Huh. "Orbital Insertion Frame", maybe? Comes down through the atmosphere in capsule mode and then unfolds after aerobraking?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like there's much space to actually put anything inside the "petals", but you could say that the upper pair have downward-facing thrusters, then swivel the lower pair's clips & Travis brick until they both point forward and say they have guns inside them.
Or, maybe, move the lower petals so all four anchor at the top, then make some big swiveling gun the "core"...
