As I've mentioned before, Michael Raichelson has a site where he's selling frames.  It's called MobileFra.me.  He started out with Chubs and now he's expanded to also handle Scramblers.  You still purchase a set of five frames but now you have several choices between base colors and accent colors.  In addition to that, you can also purchase several different pieces of terrain.  He's also featuring links to other frame companies that are being offered for sale by their owners.  So check it out, you may find something you like there.

Frame Kits 2

We've talked about this before.  Now someone else has stepped up.  Micheal Raichelson is accepting pre-orders for kits of five Chubs.  For $50 USD you get three Direct Fire, one Artillery, and one Melee Chub, in a combination of one base color and one accent color.  They're only available until June 14, 2014 so get in on this while you can.

Frame Kits

I was going to do a post about a scenario idea I had but that can wait a bit.

Frame kits are something that gets talked about on a regular basis by the MFZ community. There's a whole discussion topic over on the Hangar.  Over on the French MF0 Facebook page, Antoine Davrou is putting together Starter Packs for 65 Euro.  You might know him as Ybliss on Flickr.

Here's what hes got so far.

Each kit comes with the parts for the frames, dice, and a ruler.  I think this is the first time anyone has done something like this.  Yes, I know, there's the Garage Kit and someone used to make Classic mecha kits for Mechaton.  But I think this is the first time someone has included dice and a ruler to make these kits playable from the word go.

This is a very cool thing.

The Garage Kit

One of the most asked for things, besides the actual rules, is the list of parts in the MFZ Garage kit.  For those that don't know, this is a kit that allows you to build five mechs from one of the three factions in the game.  So you can see why people might want to know the exact composition of this kit.  I've finally added the list as a permanent page here on the Mobile Frame Garage.  Enjoy.
