Storage

We were discussing storage options for Lego the other day on the Discord, so I figured I'd do a post about my set up.

The most useful and interesting pieces are kept in two multi-
drawer tackle boxes.  I think these are made by Plano but
they're probably discontinued as I haven't seen them in years.

Here's an individual tray.

I have kits for more commonly built Frames.  Generics,
Classics, and Crab Mecha, if you're wondering.

I use screw/nut bins for bulk storage.  I believe
they're all Akro-Mils products similar to this one.

I generally sort by part type for the tackle boxes and color & part type for the bins.

Lego Storage Guide

Always of interest to the MFZ community is a way of storing the Lego we use in the game.  Tom Alphin has written a Lego Storage Guide for collections of all sizes.  At a quick skim, this is an in-depth guide that will be useful for a large cross-section of people.
