Review: Gundam Converge ASW-G-08 Barbatos Lupus (145)

Another Gundam Converge review for a dreary Wednesday.

Box.  I paid $10.99 for this at Newbury Comics.

Parts.

Disassembled.  The club? is definitely Melee.  The horns can be Spotting, the helmet could be Spotting or Defense.  The arms can come off to represent White die damage.

Assembled.  Looks okay.

Is it a good size to use in a game?  Yes.  It's in between a Classic and a Chub.  (+5)
How many parts does it have to represent systems?  Three.  (0)

Score: 0 (B).  That sounds about right.  I'm not too impressed with this one.

Non-Human 26

Feeling lazy this morning, so have some cool pictures.

Missile Bot by .The Black Rabbit.  It might be
a little tall, but this is a great looking design.

Turtle class Attack Tank by Dead Frog, Inc.  This looks like it might be in scale for MFZ.

TSM-97 Tripod Security Mech from Ordo.  I like the looks of this.
As some people have said, you don't see tripod mecha all that much.

Droid Crab by LEGO_Planet.
This looks like a solid build.

Tiny Tank by bermudafreze.  I really like the color use in this one.

Review: 41574 Mixel Compax

Parts.  Plenty of Plates, a few Ball Joints, some Bricks, a couple Tires and Rims, some Slopes and Technic pieces.  Another set with wide selection.

Build.  2Rh+d8/1Y/1Gd8/2W+SSR.

Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Below.  (+5)  (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)

Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  Yes.  (+5)
Score: +20 (A+).  Trashoz finish out on top.

Review: 41572 Mixel Gobbol

I started reviewing this Tribe of Mixels back in January.  It's come time to finish.

Parts.Plenty of Slopes, Tiles, and Plates, some Bricks w/Bar, Clip Plates, and Tooth Plates, a couple Bar Plates, Robot Arms, Flags, and Headlight Bricks.  A fair amount of different things but no great quantities of really useful parts.

Build.  I actually like this one.

The Questions:

Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Below.  (+5)  (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)

Review: 30320 Gallimimus Trap Polybag

This polybag was available at Toys'R'Us back when Jurassic World was in the theaters.
