Battle Report: Stone Garden @ PAX Unplugged

We managed to organize a full scale game at PAX Unplugged.  Hydromancer, sBritcher, Cmdr. Rook, and myself all shared the field of battle.  We started a little late so we didn't have time for the usual depth in note and picture taking.

Hydromancer (4 Frames & 13 Systems) = (5 Points per Asset) * (6 assets) = 30 points.

   Turtle -- 2Ra/2W.
   Thunderbolt (spotting wall) -- 2B/1Gd8/1Y/2W + SSR (x2).
   Four Armor (soldier) -- 2Rd/1B/1G/1Y/2W + SSR.
   Osprey (soldier) -- 2Rd/1B/1G/1Y/2W.

sBritcher (4 Frames & 16 Systems) = (3 Points per Asset) * (6 assets) = 18 points.
   Yellow Soldier -- 2Rd/1B/1G/1Y/2W + SSR.
   Blue Soldier -- 2Rd/1B/1G/1Y/2W + SSR.
   Silver Soldier -- 2Rd/1B/1G/1Y/2W.
   Lime Soldier -- 2Rd/1B/1G/1Y/2W + SSR.

Cmdr. Rook (4 Frames & 16 Systems) = (3 Points per Asset) * (6 assets) = 18 points.

Events of Turn 1 (DDC@11): Hydromancer captures one of Cmdr. Rook's Stations.  sBritcher captures then loses one of Cmdr. Rook's stations.

Hydromancer: 36 points.
 sBritcher: 18 points.
Me: 18 points.
Cmdr. Rook: 15 points.

Events of Turn 2 (DDC@8): Hydromancer seizes another Station, then loses two Stations and his Turtle Frame.  sBritcher loses a Station.  Cmdr. Rook seizes two Stations.  I seize one Station and destroyed Hydromancer's Turtle frame (Turtle paste!).  Lots of Station Dancing in this round.

Hydromancer: 24 points.
 Me: 21 points.
Cmdr. Rook: 21 points.
sBritcher: 15 points.

Events of Turn 3 (DDC@5): Hydromancer gains a Station back, then loses two more along with two more Frames.  Cmdr. Rook loses and gains a Station.  I gain another Station.  At this point they were shutting off the lights in the main hall and we had to pack up so the Doomsday clock is ticked down to zero.

Me: 24 points.
 Cmdr. Rook: 21 points.
sBritcher: 15 points.
Hydromancer: 12 points.

Thoughts & Observations:

• This was a fast paced but fun game.
• Cmdr. Rook finally got to participate in a big game at a PAX.
• I like the look of my Shkval frames but the hip joint set-up is a little wonky.
• I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next year.
