Purity: Mega Bloks CNG75 Call of Duty UGV Drone

Another Call of Duty set for your Friday enjoyment.

Box.  MSRP is $9.99 for a $0.12 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Minifig.

Parts 1.  Just some treads and a Wedge Brick.

Parts 2.  Plenty of Rims, more Corner Stud Bricks, some Clip Plates, an interesting Double Bar Tile, those "Tonfa" Bars are neat, as are the Bar Holder Bars.

Parts 3.  Those Axle  Bricks are only two plates tall, the minigun mounts on a Pin, and that's a Pin Bar in the lower left.

Parts 4.  The one thing that really sticks out here is the Inverted Cheese Slope in the lower right quadrant..

Build.  An IO Frigate and HVA.

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Above.  (-10)
(The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  Yes.  (+5)
Score: +5 (B+).  Not a bad score and the set has some interesting parts.

Purity: Mega Bloks CNG76 Call of Duty Hoverbike Raid Review

Let's take a look at one of the newer Megabloks Call of Duty sets.

Box.  MSRP is $9.99 for a $0.11 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Minifig.

Parts 1.  Everything here should be useful.

Parts 2.  That "bike frame" piece at the top of the picture is going to be a bugaboo.  Those 1x1 Corner Stud Bricks are really interesting though.  The printed pieces are nice too.  As are the Bar/Bar (closed ends) pieces.

Parts 3.  I like those Trans-Blue Tiles, and the Inverted Clip Tiles too.

Build.  I managed an IO Frigate with a stand, my usual 2Ra/1Y loadout.
