Lego Ideas 12

It's been a year since the last time I posted one of these, so let's get back to it.

Gundam - The White Base and Battle Plan V. Those mecha look in scale for Rapid Attack and who wouldn't want the White Base as terrain for their table?

Rainforest Frogs.  First of all, I have a thing for Poison Dart Frogs.  Second, this is full of ball joints and other useful mecha bits.  Third, there are terrain bits too.

GAIA-72 Terraforming Station.  Another submission that would make a great core piece for a table-setting.

Classic Space Port.  Combine this with the prior one and now the table is really rocking.

Motorcycle 8.  I'd just like to see a Technic Ideas set.  It looks like it would have a bunch of useful parts and, since it's so small, it probably wouldn't be expensive.

For anyone wondering why I'm talking about potential Lego Ideas sets, they could be useful in some way for Mobile Frame Zero -- potential mecha, terrain, great parts, or they're just cool. As always I've supported all of these submissions.

Lego Ideas 11

For anyone wondering why I'm talking about potential Lego Ideas sets, they could be useful in some way for Mobile Frame Zero -- potential mecha, terrain, great parts, or they're just cool.

Lego Mushroom House.  This would be a massive terrain set.  Nevermind the fact that it just looks cool.

The Great Wave off Kanagawa.  That is a lot of Exo Force Arms and Nanofigs.

There's currently a vote running for a Target Ideas set.  The vote closes at the end of May 2022 so you might want to hurry if you have an opinion on which set is best.

Speaking of that, there's a Marine Life 2.  Tons of good pieces and colors.

Operation Angler.  Steampunk?  Check.  Cool build?  Check.  Neat parts?  Check.

As always I've supported all of these submissions.

Lego Ideas 10

Here's another set of really neat looking Ideas submissions that may have great parts for Mobile Frame Zero.

Freshwater Algae Eater Models.  Tons of Translucent parts and other cool parts for MFZ.

The Hearthean's Ship from Outer Wilds.  Terrain and Frame parts all in one.

Micro City.  Lookit all those Octagonal Bar Plates!  This would also function as nice microscale terrain.

Workshop Lathe in Minifig Scale.  While this one does have a lot of parts that could be useful for MFZ, I'm supporting it for more personal reasons.

Flying Insects.  This looks like it's the start of a fleet for Intercept Orbit.

As always, I've supported all the projects on this list.

Lego Ideas 9

I feel like I need a breather, so let's take a look at some Ideas proposals that could be interesting for MFZ.

The Glass House.  One of my favorite pieces of architecture and it could make for fun terrain.

Double Looping Roller Coaster.  A massive amount of tracks and framework pieces that will make for an awesome terrain set-up.

Posable Hermit Crab Models.  These have useful pieces in interesting colors.

Maya Temple in Chichin Itza.  Another fantastic terrain set.

Chinatown Double Happiness Archway.  Another fantastic looking terrain set.

As always, I've supported all the projects on this list.

Lego Ideas 8

Let's change pace a little and look at possible cool and useful submissions on Ideas.

Japanese Spider Crab.  Looks like it will have a bunch of joint pieces which are always useful.

Centaur Warrior.  This thing is gigantic, you should be able to make a few Frames and some Cover out of it.

Gas Truck & Crane.  Technic and System parts, a great combo.

Space Race Roller Coaster.  This looks like a fantastic set for terrain.  It probably has some great greebles hidden away too.

I've backed all of these sets.

Lego Ideas 7

Let's look at more potential Ideas sets

Dinosaur Skeleton BrickHeadz.  BrickHeadz sets always have useful parts and this one is no exception.

Huwbot.  Yeah, it's connected with Brickset but, it looks to have a really good selection of parts.

Space Team Bubble Scouts.  This looks like Terrain and Frame parts in one kit.

T-1 Scorpion.  An old school style spacecraft that looks really cool.

Flying Whale (Kinetic Sculpture).  It looks cool and has a bunch of neat parts.  It might also be good for Intercept Orbit terrain.

HMS Baleen.  This would make for a good starter for IO ships.

Blue Whale.  A bunch of Ball Joints and some Light Blue(?) pieces make this interesting to me.

As before, I've supported all the projects on this list.

Lego Ideas 6

For some reason I'm able to get back into my Ideas account, after five years.  Let's get back to finding cool sets to support!

Dragon Designer -- Cool colors and tons of parts.

Martian City -- This would make for great nano-scale terrain.

Micro Worlds -- Might be cool as oversized Stations.

Mecha Dragon Statue -- Should have a ton of good parts.

Modular Knight's Castle -- Who doesn't want two castles as terrain for their game?

Baby Dragon Fortress -- More terrain and some fun bits.

Lego Ideas 5

Another batch of Ideas for you to ruminate over.

Mini Firetruck by LegoDragon213.  This has 4P people, but I think it's a little large for that scale.  Other than that it should make for good terrain.

Emissary by Legofire772.  A sci-fi battlesuit made with an abundance of Mixel joints.

Microscale Jurrasic Park by Senteosan.  I'm not normally a fan of IP tie-ins, but this could make some fun terrain for our mecha to stomp through.

Flying Mobile Frame Zero by DrJ29014.  It's a set of Chubs.  Get behind this people!

As always I've supported everything on this list.

Lego Ideas 4

It's been a while so let's look at some Lego Ideas submissions.

Construction Vehicles by aleehc.  These would make for great terrain.  They look to be 4P scale.

International Acrobats by vindic8ed.  More excellent terrain.  Also looking like 4P scale.

Mini Wall-E by Archimedes Chen.  This looks like it'll have lots of interesting parts.  Thanks to +Kevin Henke for the heads up.

Ogre Mark V by GlenBricker.  Unfortunately this one's already expired.

Mini-Scale Super Cars by Modex222.  I'm always a sucker for a good car model.

Once again, I've backed all of these submissions.

Lego Ideas Rewind

There are a bunch of grandfathered Cuusoo submissions that are set to expire in 35 days when Ideas hits its one year anniversary.  Some of these should get a shot at the review process and I think the community should throw its weight behind them

Microfig Mechas by The Mugbearer.  I've featured his work here before in both Ideas posts and a Spotlight.  Type 3 Mecha from this submission would be right up our alley.

Box Bot by Beitle. I think this deserves to be doing a lot better than it is.

Steel Brothers - Steel Blade by polinozs.  This is a fairly simple design but it has a lot of good parts.

Micro Mechs - Pocket Models by BWTMT Brick.  C'mon, 4P scale mechs.  What's not to love?

Tesla Troops by Garry_Rocks.  This is a massive submission and I hope it gets a little closer to its goal.

Chronos by Accelerando.  One of the main complaints I hear is that Lego doesn't have any sets that are ready to go right out of the box.  This was purpose built for MFZ.  C'mon!!  What more do you want?

Lego Ideas 3

Here's another set of Lego Ideas submissions that could prove useful to the MFZ community.

Hyperborea by Nick Royer.  While it may seem that this submission is minifig heavy, there are some set ideas that would be great for MFZ.  The Illuminati Kit for one, and the Mini-Hardsuit is another.

Turtle CS-1 and the Space Guys by Devid VII.  While the minifigs aren't useful, the turtle mech could be a good selection at 4P scale.

Eos Frame and Station by Accelerando.  I've mentioned his work before.  This is built specifically for MFZ, and mentions it by name in the description.

Micro Animals by Peter Thaler.  I've mentioned these before in another blog post and think they would make a great polybag set.

Hover Scout and Recharge Dock by iso3200.  This is a neat set I found through Brickset.  You should be able to build a couple of stations, some terrain, and maybe some sort of vehicular Frame from it.

Once again, I've backed all of these submissions.

Lego Ideas 2

Here's another set of Lego Ideas submissions that I think the MFZ community should take a look at.

Exo-MicroForce.  A pair of micronized Exo-Force mechs that just so happen to be at 6P scale.  The designer is a member of the Hangar.

Hardsuit Kit. It's designed to be a "Hardsuit" at minifig scale but, if you change the head it could be used at 7P scale for MFZ.

Tesla Troops.  This is by Garry_rocks, I've done a Spotlight post on his work.

Chronos.  This was inspired by MFZ.  He's also a member of the Hangar.

I've supported all of these submissions.

Lego Ideas

The old Lego Cuusoo project has ended its beta phase and been re-branded as Lego Ideas.  MFZ and Cuusoo didn't always have the best relationship.  That doesn't mean the community can't support ideas that would give us creations that would be of good use in MFZ.  One of the mechs that I featured in my Non-Human 10 post has been put up for consideration.  I think the Box Bot deserves our support.  It's a fun idea and would make a great Lego set.

Here are a few other projects that look good for MFZ as well.
Mini Troopers.  Yeah, these would fit in a MFZ game.
First Responder D.  These would make for some good scenery pieces.
Steel Brothers - Steel Blade.  This look slike something I'd design.
Micro Mechs - Pocket Models.  The idea behind this is great, collectible microscale mechs to trade and battle with in the schoolyard.  MFZ writ small!

I've supported all of these.  I'll have to keep an eye open and see if there are any more we can throw our support behind.
