Review: 70330 Nexo Knights Ultimate Clay

Digging into the backlog for another small set nets us a Nexo Knights Ultimate set.

Box.  MSRP was $9.99.  Original Price per Piece was $0.14.
I paid $6.98 for this which gives a $0.10 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Minifig.

Parts 1.  Dish, Angled Plates,
Plates, Wedge Plates, Flames,
 Printed Pentagonal Tiles, Ball
Joint Plates, and a Brick.

Parts 2.  Large Jumpers, Hinge Bricks, Jumpers, Ball Joint Plates, Ball Joint
Pins, Bar Plate (open end), Large Cheese Slopes, Plates, Grille Tiles, Clip
Plates, Apollo Studs, Half Pins, Clip Bars, Gem, Pneuma-Ts, Pin Connectors,
Lightsaber Hilts, Printed Pentagonal Tile, Sword Blades, and Exo-Force Arm.

Build.  A Melee (2Rh+d8) frame.

Score: +5 (B+).  There are some really cool parts in this set.  At the clearance price the score would be +15 (A).

A quick Nexo Knights review to start out the week.

Clip Tiles, Wedge Plates, Minifig Axe Heads,
Technic bits, a Bracket, a Boat Stud, a
Minifig Handlebar, and a Hinge Plate.

Parts 2.  Nexagon, Giant Clip
Claws, Ball Joints, and Angle
Tiles are all cool.

Build. 2Rh/2B for Systems.

The Questions:

Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Above.  (-10)  (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)

Score: +5 (B+).  As you can see, I didn't pay full price for this. On the other hand, all the Nexo Knights Battle Suit sets are a good starting point.

could function as a Frame in a pinch.

Parts 1.  That Axe Blade could be interesting.  Nexagon is always
 useful.  Pentagonal Tile and 1x3 Inverted Double Slopes are fun.

and, I'm really starting to get into
Bright Light Orange as a color.

Plates, Claw Bar Holders, Arm Up Plates,
a Minifig Lightning Bolt, Hinge Bricks, a Minifig Tool Box, Brackets, Jumpers,
and Pentagonal Tiles are all useful.

Parts 2.  I think the 1x4 Angle
Plates are fun to use.

and Station.

This is the halfway point of Nexo Knights week.

Mecha Cockpit, and the Half Spiked
Ball immediately jump out at me.

Parts 2.  Of course there's the Ball Joint Technic Steering Arm, and the other Ball Joint and Technic pieces.  Plenty of Plates, Slopes, and Printed Tiles too.
