Review: 41505 Mixel Shuff

This is the last of my Series 1 Mixel reviews for the moment.  I still have to track down the last three, if they're even available in my local area.

Bag.  MSRP is $4.99, which is a Price per Piece of $0.10.

Instructions.

Parts.I really like those textured Slopes in the top of the picture.  Only two ball joints but four of the Bracket 1x2 - 2x2 Inverted though.  One Plate, Modified 1x2 w/3 Teeth (Claws) which I'm beginning to really like, four 1x1 Clip Plates Horizontal, and two 1x2 Plate w/Bar (closed ends) catch my eye along with the Large Jumper and Boat Stud.

Review: 41500 Mixel Flain

We continue with the Mixel Review Week.

Bag.  MSRP is $4.99 which is a Price per Piece of $0.09.

Instructions.

Parts.  There are a lot of Plates and Modified Plates in this set.  Only two ball joints though.  Two of the new tooth pieces as well.  Honestly, although it has two of my favorite piece -- 1x2 Plate w/Bar (open ends) -- I'm not that thrilled with the selection in this Mixel set.

A quick 4P Mech.  I'm statting this one up as 2Rd+d8 (arm missile 

pods) / 2Rh (flamethrowers) / 1B (back armor panels) / 2W.

Review: 41507 Mixel Zaptor

In an effort to catch up on my Mixels review -- the 3rd wave is being released shortly -- I'm going to try and do a week of Mixels reviews.

Bag.  As per usual this cost $4.99 for a Price per Piece of $0.08

Instructions.

Parts.  Clip plates -- vertical and horizontal -- some radar dishes, two new headlight bricks, three new inverted brackets, small "bows", ball joints -- male, female, and hermaphrodite -- and a ton of cheese slopes.  All that plus that neat lightning piece and a bunch of other parts make for a pretty good selection.

Mecha.  This guy is 4P and

has 2Rh+d8/2W for stats.

The Questions:

Review: 41501 Mixel Vulk

Moving on to the final group of Mixels, we have Vulk of the Red Mixels.

Here's the package.  Once again, it costs $4.99 for a price per piece of $0.07.

Here you see the instructions and the bag containing the pieces.  I find it odd they have a bag of pieces inside what is essentially a polybag.

Ball joints, tooth plates -- both old and new -- claw bars, Clip plates, red pieces, dark red pieces, and black pieces, we have a large assortment of cool stuff to choose from.

Here's a small frame design with plenty of room for expansion.

Review: 41506 Teslo Mixel

I'm continuing with my reviews of the Mixel line.

This is Teslo, from the electricity tribe.  He has 54 pieces for $4.99, which makes him $0.09 per piece.  I mainly bought this one for that trans-colored "electricity" piece you can see on the front of the package.

Here are the instructions and parts bag.

That is a lot of Cheese Slopes over there on the left.  I see some Clip Plates and Clip Bricks.  There's also that neat "electricity" piece and the flexible small tubing too.  And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the new ball joints and the small bow pieces.  Oh, I almost forgot the "Ice Cream Cone" in Black.  Forget ice cream cones, that's a ready made microscale gun muzzle.

Here we go.  A little something in 4P scale as a proof of concept.  You're still left with plenty of parts to monkey around with too.

Review: 41503 Krader Mixel

Guess what hit the shelves?!?  Mixels are finally here.  I bought two, and I'll be reviewing each one separately.

They come in three main colors, Red, Yellow, and Black, with three individual models in each color.  Each one is $4.99, which makes this $0.08 per piece.  All the sets have a different piece count.

Here are the instructions and parts bag.

The parts spread out.  First of all is the two new ball joint holders in the lower left.  We have a bunch of vertical and horizontal clip plates, cheese slopes in two colors and a hinge plate are always good parts.  The two "eyeballs" in the middle are neat, as is the 2x2 round tile with artwork on it.

Here's the frame I designed.  Not great but I was in a bit of a hurry.
