Purity: Mega Bloks DXM48 Hot Wheels Track Builder Trick Brick Review

I grabbed this on a whim at at a closing Toys'R'Us store because it was 50% off and I thought part of it might come in handy.

Box.  MSRP is $3.99, which gives us a $0.80 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Parts.  Three out of the five are track parts for Hot Wheels.  The two grey Framework pieces have studs on them.

Build.  I grabbed some 2x3 Plates to show how the Framework pieces could be connected.  It's not a real build.

The Questions:

Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away?  No.  (-5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Above.  (-10)  (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away?  No.  (-5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  No.  (-5)
Score: -25 (C-).  Not useful unless you have a specific use for the Framework pieces.  Which I do.
