As part of our standing invitation to the Paper Asylum, we played our fourth game of the year there. This was a Battle on Ice 9. For once, I didn't play just observed, commented, and took notes.

Tom's Orange frame hits Chuck's Purple frame for 4. Chuck's Purple frame hits Tom's White frame for 3. Phungkyjams' Light Yellow frame hits Chuck's Purple frame for 3, destroying it. Events of Round 2 (DDC @ 9): Phungkyjams' Orange captures Chuck's Green station. Tom's Green frame hits the Long Building for 1. Tom's Orange frame hits Chuck's Green frame for 1. Phungkyjams' Blue frame hits Tom's Pink frame for 2, Station Dance. Phungkyjams' Blue frame then captures one of Tom's stations. Tom's Red frame hits Phungkyjams' Blue frame for 7 damage -- off 8 dice -- destroying it. Tom's Red frame then recaptures the Station. Phungkyjams' Red frame hits Tom's Red frame for 3, Station Dance. Phungkyjams' Green frame hits Chuck's Yellow frame for 2.
Events of Round 3 (DDC @ 6): Chuck's White frame hits Phungkyjams' Red frame for 1. Phungkyjams' Red frame hits a Cylinder in front of Tom's Brown frame for 1, destroying it. Tom's Brown frame hits Phungkyjams' Red frame for 3, Station Dance. Chuck's Orange frame hits Phungkyjams' Red frame for 1, then runs forward captures Phungkyjams' Black station. Tom's Green frame hits Phungkyjams' Red frame for 3, destroying it. Chuck's Green frame hits Tom's Orange frame for 2. Tom's Orange frame hits Chucks Green frame for 7 -- once again, off 8 dice -- destroying it. Phungkyjams' Green frame hits Chuck's Yellow frame for 1, destroying it. Phungkyjams' Yellow frame hits the Small Building for 2, destroying it, and Chuck's White frame for 2. Phungkyjams' Light Yellow frame hits a Pumping Tube for 1 and Tom's Grey frame for 2.
Events of Round 4 (DDC @ 3): Tom's Green frame hits Chuck's Brown frame for 2. Phungkyjams' Yellow frame hits Chuck's White frame for 1. Phungkyjams' Orange frame hits Chuck's White frame for 5, destroying it, and captures Chuck's other Station. The Doomsday Clock is ticked to zero.

- This was a Battle.
- Tom and Phungkyjams rolled off for Primary attacker.
- "I thought {Mantisking} was going to be playing." was Chuck's quote when asked about his squad selection.
- I think this is the first game that I was involved with as just the scribe, not player.
- We had two 7 damage off 8 dice rolled results, which is 87.5% effectivity.
- There were six separate pieces of Cover that were damaged in this game.
- 83 points of Damage was inflicted in the entire game.
- There were six instances of the Station Dance in this game.
