Review: Make-It Blocks Birds 2.2

Make-It Blocks has released a second line of Birds themed sets.  It's been almost a year since my last Make-It Blocks review -- pay no attention to all those other MIB sets in my backlog pile -- so let's get going.

Box. MSRP is $1.25, for a $0.03 Price per Piece.

Instructions.

Parts.  Round Plate, Feathered Minifig Wings, Round Large Jumpers,
Studless Slope, Round Brick w/3 Bamboo Leaves, Stud Holders w/Bar,
Plates, Double sided Round Plate, Tiles, Double Brackets, Wedge Studless
Slopes, Round Plates, Cheese Slope w/Stud, Bar Studs, Stadium Tiles,
Printed Round Tiles, Inverted Studless Slopes, Inkwell, Unicorn Horn, Bar
Clips, Clip Bar Holder, Brick w/Studs on side, and Curved Slope w/Cutout.

Build.  IO Frigate (2Y/2W).

The Questions:
Can you build something -- a frame, station, or starship -- right away? Yes. (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio? Below. (+5) (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away? Yes. (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts? No. (-5)
Score: +10 (A-). I thought this set was going to be sort of average but considering the new piece, the colors, and the general utility of everything in it, I'm going to be buying multiples.  The Stud Holders w/Bar piece is a little weird, it's like someone cut the ends off a couple of 1x3 Bar w/Clip & Stud Holder and glued them back together.  It sits in between two and three Studs long so it won't sit cleanly on either.  I'm sure it'll make for a nice robot eye piece or something like that.
