Review: 31001 Mini Skyflyers

This was originally released at $6.99.  I picked this up for $4.99 at 5 Below.  It has 62 pieces.  Which means it has a Price per Piece of $0.11.

Package.  I've found these plastic containers really useful for storing Lego.  They can hold a fair amount for their size.

Instructions.

Parts 1.  Mini-brackets, Lampholders, 1x1 round plates, Trans-Blue 1x1 round tiles, Trans-Black 2x2 slope w/o studs, 2x2x2 cone, wedge plates, 1x2 Cheese Slopes, and a bunch of other decent parts.

Parts 2.  These two were loose in the package.

Mecha.  2Ra+d8/2W.

Flier. 2Rh (pulse lasers)/1B (rocket

motor)/1Gd8 (no ranged weapons)/2W.

The Questions:
Can you build a frame, or frames, right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Is it below, at, or above the golden ratio?  Above.  (-10) (The Golden Ratio is $0.10 per part.)
If you can't build a frame right away, or choose not to, does it have parts you should be able to put into use right away?  Yes.  (+5)
Does it have more than a handful of immediately useful parts?  No.  (-5)
Score: B- (-5). If you pick this up at 5 Below like I did, then it changes to a PpP of $0.08 and a rating of A-.
